Technical leader · Product builder · Idea machine
I turn ambitious ideas into systems that work.
I'm Paul Pemberton - a technical leader with 13+ years of experience building products, teams, and platforms. Now I'm applying that foundation to AI agents and the next generation of intelligent systems.
From idea to working system
- 01Observe
Notice the problem beneath the request.
- 02Frame
Give the idea boundaries and a direction.
- 03Build
Make something real enough to use.
- 04Learn
Use what happens to shape the next version.

Selected work
Products built around consequential problems.
Each project starts from a different question. The common thread is finding the shape of the problem, then building a system people can actually use.
Until Rope Drop
A planning product that turns a complicated day into a clear, adaptable sequence of decisions.
Aida
An autonomous agent system exploring how AI can carry context, use tools, and do meaningful work.
PhytoLab
A plant intelligence platform that makes observation, experimentation, and care more systematic.
Imaginecraft
A modification system for Minecraft built around extensibility, creative tooling, and new possibilities.
How I work
Wide-angle thinking.
Concrete execution.
The strongest technical decisions begin before the architecture diagram. I look for the forces underneath a problem - human, product, and technical - then make those forces legible enough to build against.
- 01
Find the real problem
Separate the visible request from the underlying need.
- 02
Give ideas a structure
Turn possibility into models, boundaries, and choices.
- 03
Build to learn
Make the smallest real thing that can sharpen the thinking.
- 04
Design for change
Create systems that can absorb what we discover next.
Ideas & frameworks
Technology is one kind of system. Society is another. Both reveal what we value through the structures we choose.
The Architecture of Reality is a framework for thinking about governance, institutions, incentives, and the systems that shape collective life. It's an example of the same instinct I bring to products: look beneath the surface, find the structure, and ask how it might work better.

Have an ambitious problem?
I'm interested in technical leadership, applied AI, and product ideas with enough depth to reward serious thinking.
